Dirk Baai
Dirk is involved mostly with financial feasibility and financing issues surrounding major infrastructural projects. He has considerable experience with financial modeling, project financing and port and public transportation concessions. He was involved with the tendering procedure for the first Flemish motorway Public-Private Cooperation and helped realise the standard DBFM contract for the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management.
Dirk is very much internationally oriented. He has participated in projects in Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa involving (port)concessions, tariff studies for ports and the privatisation of public corporations, and he has also taught classes.
Dirk has been with RebelGroup Advisory since 2003. Prior to joining us, he worked for a variety of research firms.
